Ingredients:
1 ½ cups crushed ice
2 ounces bourbon (preferably single barrel)
¾ ounce fresh lemon juice
½ ounce DaVinci Gourmet Banana Bread Syrup
½ ounce DaVinci Gourmet Maple Syrup
2–3 sprigs fresh mint
Torched lemon slice, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Step 1 Torched lemon slice: sprinkle maple or granulated sugar on the lemon slice and torch until caramelized; lightly char edges. Set aside.
Step 2 Add crushed ice to a double rocks glass.
Step 3 In a mixing glass half filled with ice, combine bourbon, lemon juice, and syrups; stir with a bar spoon.
Step 4 Rub mint sprigs around the rim of the ice-filled glass. Strain drink into the glass. Top with mint sprigs and the torched lemon slice. Serve.
