A vivid two–tone frozen margarita that swirls Island Oasis Shelf-Stable Watermelon Mix with a cool-spicy cucumber–jalapeño layer built on Island Oasis Margarita Mix. Silver tequila and an optional Tajín rim keep it bright, zesty, and patio-ready.
Makes: 1 – 16 oz serving
Ingredients:
Watermelon Layer
1 cup ice
5 oz Island Oasis Shelf-Stable Watermelon Mix
1 ½ oz silver tequila
Spicy Cucumber Layer
¾ cup ice
2 oz Island Oasis Margarita Mix
¼ cup diced cucumber
2 slices jalapeño pepper
Cucumber, watermelon, or jalapeño slice for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Step 1 Rim a large margarita glass with fresh lime juice and Tajín seasoning if desired and set aside.
Step 2 Add all watermelon layer ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a cup and set aside. Rinse pitcher.
Step 3 Add all spicy cucumber layer ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth.
Step 4 Pour both mixtures into the rimmed glass at the same time to create a swirled look.
Step 5 Garnish as desired and serve.
Notes:
This cocktail can be made in frozen slushie machines by eliminating the ice and multiplying each ingredient by 10, adding equal parts water.
Watermelon layer: 20 oz Island Oasis Watermelon Mix + 20 oz water + 15 oz silver tequila.
Spicy cucumber layer: 20 oz Island Oasis Margarita Mix + 20 oz water + 2 ½ cups pureed cucumber + 1 pureed jalapeño.
